2022 Partnership Opportunities Have been Updated
Welcome to your guide to becoming a partner of the Canadian Aerial Applicators Association. Enclosed is everything you need to know about how you can play a role in creating and being a part of the growing community of aerial applicators in Canada. Together we strive to shed a positive light on the industry and its many beneficial contributions to Canada and our way of life.

The 2022 Partnership Package has been updated to reflect the move to the Virtual Conference.
CARAC Activity Reporting Notice #: 2021-016 Lightweight Data Recorders
CAAA was recently made aware that CARAC has published proposed amendments to require lightweight data recorders in all Canadian registered aircraft: CARAC Activity Reporting Notice #: 2021-016 Lightweight Data Recorders. If approved, this would require the installation of a Lightweight Flight Data Recorder on all newly manufactured aircraft being imported into Canada starting 2 years after approval of this regulation. In addition, all agricultural aircraft already operating in Canada would be required to have these Lightweight Flight Data Recorders within 5 years after approval of this regulation.

Pest Management Regulatory Agency Survey
Health Canada’s Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) is seeking input from agricultural professionals about seed treatment and planting practices in Canada. Through this survey, PMRA is trying to improve and refine assumptions made about seed treatments that may impact exposure estimates for environmental risk assessment.

The PMRA would appreciate survey responses by February 9, 2022.
