Provincial Association Members

The board will determine from time to time and when requested by any person applying for Provincial Association membership, the organization which represents the aerial application industry in a particular Canadian province or territory and which desires membership in the Association. Only one Provincial Association Member will be recognized for each province or territory in Canada. Each Provincial Association Member is entitled to attend meetings of members and to vote to elect two directors of the Association, but otherwise is not entitled to vote at meetings of members of the Association.

Regional Association Members

The board will determine from time to time and when requested by any person applying for Regional Association membership, the organization which represents the aerial application industry in a particular region of more than one Canadian province or territory that are not otherwise represented by a Provincial Association or Regional Association Member and which desires membership in the Association. Only one Regional Association Member will be recognized for the relevant provinces or territories in Canada. Each Regional Association Member is entitled to attend meetings of members and, if it represents two provinces or territories, to vote to elect three directors of the Association, or, if it represents three or more provinces or territories, to vote to elect four directors of the Association, but otherwise is not entitled to vote at meetings of members of the Association.

Operator Members

Persons carrying on an aerial application business either under the authority of an air operator certificate or equivalent authority issued by Transport Canada or under and in compliance with an exemption from that requirement as authorized by applicable legislation and regulation may apply for membership in the Association as an Operator Member. Operator members are not entitled to vote for the election of directors, but otherwise are entitled to attend and to exercise two votes each at meetings of members of the Association.

Individual Members

Persons who are not Operators but are actively involved in the aerial application industry, including qualified individuals who perform pilot duties for an Operator or are actively training for or seeking such duties may apply for membership in the Association as an Individual Member. Individual Members are not entitled to vote for the election of directors, but otherwise are entitled to attend and to exercise one vote each at meetings of members of the Association.

Allied Industry Members

Persons who do not provide aerial application services but who support the aerial application industry may apply for membership in the Association as Allied Members. Allied Members are entitled to attend meetings of members of the Association but are not entitled to vote.

Honorary Members

The Board may from time to time determine those persons who have made an outstanding contribution to the Association or the aerial application industry and are deserving of the award of being designated an Honourary Member of the Association. Honourary Members are entitled to attend meetings of members of the Association but are not entitled to vote.

Associate/Reciprocal Members

Not-for-profit organizations whose purposes, objects and qualifications for membership are, in the opinion of the directors, consistent and compatible with the objects of the Association may apply for Associate/Reciprocal Membership in the Association. Associate/Reciprocal Members are entitled to attend meetings of members of the Association but are not entitled to vote.
